Description: The plaintiff was walking down the street with his friends when the defendant officers pulled up next to them in an unmarked police vehicle. The officers got out of the car, questioned them, and then began aggressively arresting the plaintiff's friend. The plaintiff turned on the flashlight on his phone and pointed it at the arrest. The defendant officers then arrested the plaintiff thinking he was filming the incident. He was taken to the 76th precinct and charged with Resisting Arrest, Obstruction of Governmental Administration, and Disorderly Conduct. The charges were later dismissed.

Description: On December 5, 2012, the Plaintiff was outside his residence, standing on a public sidewalk talking with friends. NYPD Police Officer Brian Grant (Shield #14907) and three (3) unidentified police officers ordered the Plaintiff and his friends to leave the area. They complied, walking around the neighbourhood for 30 minutes. They returned to go up to the Plaintiff's apartment and were again approached by the Defendant officers. The officers asked for ID. As the Plaintiff was retrieving his ID, the Defendants pushed him against a wall and handcuffed him.
