Description: On or about January 17, 2013 at 7:15pm, Plaintiff was lawfully present on the sidewalk when Defendant POs Garcia, Cruz, Gibson, Taveras, and Gillis approach Plaintiff and physically detained her and forcibly performed a warrantless search. Defendant POs had no probably cause and Plaintiff did not consent to the search. Defendant POs accused Plaintiff of being involved in a drug transaction and kept Plaintiff in custody for several hours, during which Plaintiff was subjected to a strip search. Plaintiff was then released without receiving any summons, desk appearance ticket, or notice of any violation of law.
