Complaint
Description: On or about August 22, 2015 Plaintiff was approached by PO David Bennett, who spoke to Plaintiff in an aggressive, threatening, and disrespectful manner. PO Bennet, with approximately 3 other POs, then tackled Plaintiff to the ground and proceeded to attack, kick, and knee Plaintiff without legal justification. Plaintiff was handcuffed and taken to a precinct then a hospital. Plaintiff was not told of the charges against him but when he was forced to appear in criminal court the charges were adjourned in contemplation of dismissal. Plaintiff was injured, caused to undergo hospital and medical treatment, and unable to pursue his usual activities as a result of this incident.
