Description: Defendant Officers arrived at 794 Flushing Ave and screamed, with profanity, to be let into the building. The officers eventually broke into the building and rushed up the stairs towards the Plaintiffs' apartment. Three of the Plaintiffs were handcuffed and placed in a police vehicle, while the fourth was struck by the officers and not allowed to return to her home. A warrant-less search of the home was conducted and no illegal substances were discovered. Eventually, all four Plaintiffs were taken to the precinct and placed in holding cells. They were all charged with OGA and all of the cases were dismissed.

Description: On September 19, 2014, inside a park on Myrtle and Throop Aves, Brooklyn, NY, plaintiff and his girlfriend walked through the park so his girlfriend could use the bathroom. It was still light out when they entered the park and there were no signs indicating that the park was closed. Officers arrested plaintiff for being in a park after sunset. Officers hit plaintiff on his face causing bruises, and incarcerated for 24 hours. On September 20, 2014, plaintiff received an ACD at arraignment.
