Description: On March 5, 2016, Rahiem Fennell was at Club Miami in the Bronx when an altercation outside the venue led to a shooting. A rival security member was identified as the shooter, injuring two security personnel. Surveillance footage captured the incident, clearly showing that Fennell was not involved in the shooting. Despite this, on March 6, 2016, NYPD Detectives Jeffrey Meenagh and Richard Simplicio, along with Sergeant Michael J. Lopuzzo, arrested Fennell and charged him with attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.
