Description: On April 25, 2014, the plaintiff, Ella Shillingfor, was assaulted and arrested by the defendant using excessive force and without probable cause. In the defendant's statement, he observed the plaintiff display and offer for sale more than twenty buttons without displaying a vendor license. The defendant approached the plaintiff asking if a nearby table containing certain goods for sale was her, after the plaintiff said no and that it belonged to another person, Denver Bannister.
