Complaint
Description: On January 28, 2000, plaintiff was wrongfully arrested for a homicide case unrelated to him but related to his uncle. However, police officer Anthony Pitre (Sheild No. 3417) prepared a questionable photo array which leads to plaintiff’s conviction. Plaintiff wrongfully served in jail for more than 23 years. On June 16, 2023, a court dismissed the indictment based on new evidence.

Complaint
Description: In 1999 and 2000, police officers, including PO Anthony Pitre Sheild No. 3417, PO Brain McNulty, Shield No. 2043,PO Robert Salem, Sheild No. 17, manufactured a lineup identification of plaintiff to prosecute plaintiff for a shooting while knowing that plaintiff is innocent of that shooting. Plaintiff remained in custody for 21 and one half years. One September 2020, new evidence was found and plaintiff’s conviction was vacated on January 23, 2023.
