Description: On February 21, 2014, Eric Nelson, lawfully present in an HRA building, was approached by officers Morales, Smith, and Gonzalez without justification, demanding he leave. Despite compliance and requesting a supervisor, Nelson was assaulted by the officers, resulting in physical injuries including a broken nose. He was then detained, handcuffed, and issued summonses for trespassing and disorderly conduct, which were later dismissed.
