Complaint
Description: On April 12, 2011, Plaintiff was working at his deli store when Officer Rodney Moore falsely arrested him for allegedly assaulting a person on February 18. On February 18, Plaintiff was at home in Connecticut. Officer Moore charged him with assault even though Plaintiff explained that he had done nothing wrong and was home at the time of the alleged crime. Officer Moore also noticed that Plaintiff was a lot shorter than the described assailant's height, but nevertheless arrested him. On May 9, 2012, following the Plaintiff's testimony to the grand jury, and following a year of making numerous court appearances, the case was dismissed.
