Description: On September 4, 2016, plaintiff pulled over to assist an officer who was off the road and possibly injured. The officer alleged that the plaintiff drove his car into the officer, injuring him. Plaintiff was arrested, his car was impounded, and he was required to post bond for himself and his vehicle. Plaintiff was also required to make 12 court appearances, until the case was dismissed and sealed. While in custody, the plaintiff was restrained in handcuffs for hours.

Complaint
Description: On April 27, 2013, at W 125th St., NY, NY, plaintiff was thrown to the ground and kneed in the back, searched without consent and handcuffed in the street. Plaintiff suffered injury to his shoulder and wrists. Plaintiff was arrested and taken to the 28th precinct. Plaintiff's vehicle was also seized by the defendants. Plaintiff was in custody for 24 hours and arraigned later that day. Plaintiff was released on his own recognizance. After release, plaintiff sought to retrieve his vehicle and discovered the instrument panel underneath the steering wheel had been severely damaged. On March 31, 2014, criminal charges were dismissed and sealed.
