Description: On June 16, 2016 Det. Kevin Medina falsely arrested Plaintiff for robbery and assault and wrongfully took Plaintiff to the 110th Precinct where Plaintiff was held for several hours before release. Plaintiff was maliciously prosecuted and forced to retain counsel and attend numerous court appearances until Plaintiff's case was dismissed on January 23, 2017 "in the interest of justice." Plaintiff suffers anxiety attacks and as a result of this incident experienced a great degree of stress, humiliation, anxiety, despair, pain, and intimidation. Plaintiff also experienced a marked decline in academic performance due to Det. Kevin Medina's actions.
