Description: On February 7, 2023 Det. John Moise, Det. Michael Best, and PO Chris Aybar wrongfully detained, frisked, handcuffed, and arrested Plaintiff without legal justification. Plaintiff was wrongfully imprisoned and subjected to a malicious prosecution. The prosecution was dismissed on August 17, 2023. Plaintiff suffered severe emotional and psychological distress, anguish, anxiety, fear, humiliation, loss of wages, legal expenses, and damage to reputation as a result of this incident.

Description: On or about May 27, 2016, defendant NYPD officers Sasha Brugal, Corey Wooten, Chris Aybar, Merita Hotha, along with unnamed defendant NYPD officers unlawfully arrested, detained and confined plaintiff, and proceeded to provide false information to prosecutors to maliciously prosecute plaintiff, on the basis of racism and prejudice. Plaintiff received great and severe physical and mental injuries as a result of this incident. Charges against plaintiff were later dropped.
