Description: On August 24, 2019, plaintiff Errol Everett was lawfully present in front of 431 Stone Avenue in Kings County, New York, when he was allegedly assaulted by police officers, including Lieutenant Christopher Siani and Officer Belinda Diaz. The assault involved being grabbed, shoved, punched, thrown to the ground, kicked, and forcefully handcuffed. Everett was taken into custody, held at the 73rd Precinct, and then transferred to Kings County Central Booking without receiving medical care. After a period of detention, he was eventually treated for his injuries at Interfaith Medical Center under police escort.
