Description: On 6/3/16 Plaintiff entered the Ralph Avenue subway station to take the train to a job interview in Manhattan, she had just recently moved to New York City and was unfamiliar with the subway system. When her metro card didn't work, she imitated several others and went under the turnstile. Defendant NYPD officer SULAIMAN proceeded to stop only the plaintiff and behaved rudely to her. When she requested his name and badge number, he refused; when she attempted to record the defendant's badge number on her phone, he hit her hand and writ causing the phone to break. Other officer's were informed of the incident and did drove Plaintiff to the precinct so she could file a complaint.
