Description: On November 4, 2020, Plaintiff participated in a peaceful Black Lives Matter protest in Washington Square Park in New York City, who was also serving as a medic at the event. Plaintiff assisted a man who was struck by a bike by a Strategic Response Group officer. At around 8:30 pm, Plaintiff was subsequently tackled to the sidewalk by approximately four other officers, including Defendant Paul Rau. The defendants smashed Plaintiff's head to the ground and pinned Plaintiff on his back.
