Description: On October 20, 2016, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Jose R. Gregory was at the intersection of East 96th Street and Rutland Road in Brooklyn when he was falsely arrested by NYPD Officers Michael Raheb (Shield #28396) and Vivas. The officers, acting within their scope of employment, arrested and detained Mr. Gregory without probable cause or an arrest warrant. He was falsely accused of committing a crime and confined unlawfully, causing humiliation, emotional trauma, and physical injuries. Mr. Gregory alleges that the arrest was intentional, willful, and conducted without justification, violating his constitutional and civil rights.

Description: On May 16, 2016, there was a motor vehicle accident between two vehicles in Brooklyn. Defendant Marlyn Armand was the owner of one vehicle, which was left unattended with the keys still in it. Defendant Stephen Brumaire, employed by the Dept. of Corrections, operated this car with permission (express and/or implied) from Marlyn Armand. Marie Armand was the owner and user of the second vehicle. Following this collision, which was caused by the negligence and recklessness of the defendants, one of the vehicles came into violent contact with Plaintiff Charlotte Nurse, mother of infant plaintiff Michael Nurse, who was a pedestrian bystander.
