Description: On June 4, 2020, plaintiff, Brian Abelson participated in a protest in the Bronx in relation to the murder of George Floyd. Plaintiff was caught between police barricades when officers Kevin Herrera, Christopher Nelson, and Thomas Mosher attacked him. Mosher punched plaintiff in the right eye, then Herrera and Nelson reached down, grabbed plaintiff's finger, and twisted it, breaking the finger. One of the three officers pulled plaintiff's mask and pepper-sprayed him. Plaintiff was then pulled over the barrier, thrown to the ground, hit with batons, kicked, and placed on his chest on the ground.
