Description: On 12/31/23, in Manhattan, Defendants NYPD Officers Griffin, Tudor, Borodin, Astudillo, and Does 1-10, without an arrest warrant or probable cause, approached Plaintiff Maurice Reid and proceeded to stop, search, and detain him. Plaintiff Maurice Reid was subsequently arraigned and prosecuted for an alleged crime. Plaintiff was incarcerated for over 24 hours and had to make numerous court appearances until all charges were dropped. Plaintiff Maurice Reid suffered physical and emotional pain and injuries due to this incident.
