Complaint
Description: On March 13, 2022, Plaintiff was asleep in his mother's car. The defendants knocked on the vehicle and requested the Plaintiff to exit the vehicle. Additional five patrol cars and ten PO's arrived at the scene. The Plaintiff walked away from the scene and towards a store. The Plaintiff was tased by the PO's and fell to the ground. The entire incident was recorded by the store camera. The plaintiff was then transported to the hospital for mental health evaluation. The next day, the Plaintiff was discharged. Three days later, Plaintiff passed away.

Description: On January 23, 2020, Mohamadou Jabbi and Muhammed Gumaneh (Plaintiffs), while lawfully present on the sidewalk, were approached and illegally stopped by Manish Sharma and John or Jane Doe 1-10 (Defendants) while in plain clothes. Defendants then demanded identification from Plaintiffs and illegally seized and searched Plaintiffs and found no contraband. Without any investigation into criminal activity, Defendants then accused Plaintiffs of a criminal offense and proceeded to violently contort their arms behind their backs so that they could apply metal handcuffs, disregarding Plaintiffs' complaints that the cuffs were placed on too tightly causing them significant discomfort and pain.
