Description: On June 18, 2013, Plaintiff Jeffrey Jean-Philippe was near 510 Madison Avenue in Manhattan in the passenger seat of a vehicle. Plaintiff was arrested by defendant officers and charged with several crimes (including grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, and attempted grand larceny). After the arrest, defendants filled out police reports with falsified information and filed a sworn complaint on June 19, 2013 that included false information. The defendant officers also appeared and testified falsely before a grand jury. On October 27, 2014, Judge Ward concluded that the arrest and subsequent search of plaintiff was unlawful, and plaintiff was released from custody on November 7, 2014. The charges...
