Description: On January 22, 2023, Plaintiff was falsely arrested at a courtroom where he was lawfully present in by Officer Anthony Licata and one or both unnamed officers. Plaintiff was transported to NYPD's 109 precinct station house, where he was held in custody for a matter of hours without explanation. At the station house, the three officers attempted to question Plaintiff without his counsel despite the unequivocal communication that Plaintiff's counsel wanted to be present. Plaintiff also reasonably believed that line-ups and show-ups were conducted without his counsel despite his counsel's wish to be present.
