Complaint
Description: On November 15, 2023, infant Plaintiff was lawfully at the premises (in a stairwell) at Teachers Preparatory High School. Infant Plaintiff was approached and was assaulted and battered by Defendant Police Officer Saintjean. Infant Plaintiff was grabbed, thrown face first against a wall, had his forearm oppressed into his back, had his arms violently pulled back, and was forcefully placed in handcuffs. Infant plaintiff was kept in the school without being able to leave. Infant plaintiff was released without being charged with a crime. Plaintiff Ortiz was notified that Defendant Police Officer Saintjean had mistakenly identified her son (infant Plaintiff) as someone else.
