Description: On January 1, 2014, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Plaintiff was lawfully present outside of an in the vicinity of Café Omar in Brooklyn. Plaintiff was celebrating New Year’s with her friends when a large fight broke out in a part of the bar. Plaintiff and her friends complied with instructions given by employees of the bar to exit the building. Upon exiting, Plaintiff observed many NYPD officers in front of the bar. Description: On August 24, 2013, the plaintiff, along with numerous other individuals, was standing on the sidewalk, eating food, and talking with a friend. Three defendant NYPD officers approached the plaintiff, frisked without justification, and falsely accused him of possessing marijuana, allegedly found in a bag on the ground near the plaintiff.
