Description: On August 14, 2017, plaintiff was lawfully at the intersection of College Avenue and East 170th Street in the county of Bronx, New York, when he was assaulted by an unidentified individual. Shortly thereafter he was approached by defendant NYPD officers. After speaking with the plaintiff, the defendants instructed him to get into an ambulance, but the plaintiff denied because he did not think he needed medical attention. As the plaintiff attempted to walk away, the defendants without probable cause assaulted the plaintiff by grabbing him and throwing him to the ground and tasing him. While the plaintiff was handcuffed on the ground the defendants tased him again causing him to lose consciousness.
