Complaint
Description: On May 16, 2013, at approximately 11:52 p.m., plaintiff was lawfully in her home while her son and his father were arguing. Her son called the police, and when the police arrived, they arrested her son and escorted out of the apartment and into the building hallway. Plaintiff closed her apartment door. Shortly thereafter, a defendant officer kicked open plaintiff's front door, said that one of the other officers forgot a gun in the apartment, and then arrested plaintiff without any probable cause. She was taken to the precinct, placed in a holding cell, and falsely accused by defendants, including officer Polanco, of committing various crimes.
