Description: On September 27, 2017, Police Office Terrance Durity ("Defendant") entered Kariff Sheppard's ("Plaintiff") residence, without just cause or provocation and without a warrant, pointed guns at the Plaintiff, threw him to the ground, kneed him in his neck and back then handcuffed him and drove him to a precinct. At the precinct, members of the police interrogated the Plaintiff. These Officers, and the Defendant, intentionally and falsely accused the Plaintiff of having committed the crime of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree and the violation of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
