Complaint
Description: On October 24, 2020, plaintiff was lawfully present at 480 Knickerbocker Ave, Brooklyn, NY when defendants approached, grabbed and shot plaintiff three times with TASER guns, punched plaintiff’s body several times, handcuffed plaintiff in an unreasonably tight manner, and twisted plaintiff’s body in a manner that was intended to cause plaintiff pain throughout his body. Defendants knocked out one of plaintiff’s teeth, caused plaintiff to bleed profusely, left scars on plaintiff’s chest, stomach, and both upper thighs, and left scars on plaintiff’s wrists. Plaintiff was transported to Woodhull Hospital via ambulance in handcuffs and leg shackles to have his injuries treated.

Description: On January 5, 2021, Plaintiff was walking home from his friend's house when he was approached by Officers Michael Lettow, Leonard Disalvo, and John Does 1-10. Plaintiff ignored the officers who attempted to talk to him, because he did not know they were officers. Without warning, the officers attempted to grab Plaintiff from behind, who did not know who was trying to grab him and was scared. Plaintiff ran across the street, turned around, and realized they were officers. Plaintiff put his hands up, but the officers tased Plaintiff, who fell onto the concrete, hit his head, shoulder and back, and lost consciousness.
