Description: On April 11, 2020, Plaintiff Martinez was not doing anything illegal, improper or acting suspicious when he was stopped by NYPD Officer Defendants and detained without probable cause or legal justification. Plaintiff Martinez was subject to a strip search and falsely arrested before being incarcerated for 24 hours. Plaintiff was required to make numerous court appearances until all charges against him were terminated. Plaintiff sustained physical and emotional pain and injuries as a result of the encounter with Defendants.
