Description: On January 8, 2018, in the County of Bronx, New York, the plaintiff was lawfully present in the vicinity of E. 194 Street and Valentine Avenue. Defendant NYPD officers approached the plaintiff, unlawfully stopped him, and violently assaulted him for several minutes. At no time did the plaintiff engage in any behavior that would justify attacking him. As a result, the plaintiff suffered serious permanent injuries including a nasal fracture, head trauma, bruises, and abrasions. After the attack his arms were handcuffed behind his back extremely tightly and he was transported to a nearby police precinct. All the charges were dismissed in their entirety on January 17, 2019.

Description: On September 27, 2017, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Plaintiff was near 2780 Grand Concourse, Bronx when Police Officer Michael Pabon and unnamed officers (John Doe and John Roe) from the 52nd Precinct approached. Without a warrant or probable cause, the officers forcibly stopped, searched, and detained Plaintiff in an aggressive manner, despite Plaintiff not engaging in any suspicious or unlawful conduct.
While in custody, Plaintiff was subjected to a strip search. Plaintiff remained detained for over 24 hours before release. Following this, Plaintiff attended multiple court appearances until all charges were favorably dismissed.
