Description: On May 16, 2018, at approximately 1:00 PM, plaintiff voluntarily surrendered himself to the 72nd precinct in the borough of Brooklyn. He was arrested for robbery, assault, menacing, and harassment for an incident that occurred on May 4, 2018. However, plaintiff denies the charges. The police had supposed video evidence of the crimes, but the suspect in the video turned out to be another person. Plaintiff was incarcerated for approximately 29 hours. The charges were sealed and dismissed on November 30, 2018. Plaintiff now files suit against police officer Donnamarie Mazza, unidentified police officer (John Doe 1) and unidentified police officers (John and Jane Doe 2-8).

Description: On or about June 16 Plaintiff was awarded temporary custody of child F.J.S-R. and the child's father was awarded weekly visitation. Thereafter Plaintiff reported to ACS the father was returning F.J.S-R. in poor health, sometimes with swelling to private areas. These instances were corroborated by hospital staff and the child's pediatrician, who suggested visits be suspended until an investigation was conducted.
