Complaint
Description: On December 16, 2023, Officer Amar Alfalahi (Badge #13826) and two John Doe officers—without a warrant or probable cause—stopped, searched, battered, handcuffed, and arrested Plaintiff Eduardo Valdez. This stop was a likely product of the city's "Stop and Frisk" program. The officers' use of force caused permanent bodily injury to Valdez, and he continues to incur medical expenses from these injuries. Valdez was then arraigned and prosecuted, and was incarcerated for over 24 hours. All charges against him were terminated in his favor.
