Complaint
Description: When the lights went off in Plaintiff's building, she went to the circuit breaker and tried to turn them back on but had no luck. She alerted the other tenant and landlord. The next morning police knocked on her door about the issue, Plaintiff gave them her phone to talk to the landlord when they became angry, warrantlessly entered her apartment, fixed the circuit breaker, and then arrested Plaintiff. Plaintiff was brought to the 43rd precinct and given a DAT which was later dismissed.
