Description: On December 31, 2022, plaintiff was arrested by defendants. Plaintiff was standing at a platform waiting for a train when defendants approached him and began to issue him a summons for smoking. Plaintiff denied having been smoking, as a response to which the defendants s forcefully grabbed his arms and tightly restrained him with metal handcuffs causing him pain, discomfort and humiliation. Thereafter, he was dragged down the stairs and unlawfully searched. Having recovered nothing illegal from his person, the defendants then uncuffed him, lifted him from both sides and threw him out of the door.
