Complaint
Description: On August 24 2021, the Plaintiff was unlawfully approached by NYPD Officer Pena and John and Jane Does without any justification followed by an unlawful search of the Plaintiff. The Officers proceeded to arrest the Plaintiff and applied excessively tight metal handcuffs without giving him a legal reason. The Officers ignored all requests to loosen the handcuffs which lead to bruising of the Plaintiff's wrists. He was then transported to the 45th Precinct and unlawfully detained in a holding cell and taken to Central Booking. He was released after 72 hours and all charges were dismissed.
