Description: On April 14, 2016 at around 8:00 PM, plaintiffs were lawfully occupants of the premises 650 Water Street, Apt 5, in the borough of Manhattan. Police officer Torres and police officer Ponce, at that moment, forcibly and wrongfully evicted plaintiffs from said apartment and prevented plaintiffs from returning thereto. The police officers stated that they were acting pursuant to a court order, but refused to show the Order of Eviction to plaintiffs. Plaintiff went to the local courts to locate the court order, but could not do so. The eviction turned out to be illegal. Plaintiff now sue the City and officers for the illegal eviction.
