Complaint
Description: On March 27, 2022, Plaintiff was lawfully on the street walking to a friends house when he was approached by officers without cause. The Plaintiff stopped when instructed, and the officers immediately began illegally and forcefully searching Plaintiff's person. Plaintiff was placed in tight handcuffs and transported to the precinct. Based on false representations by the officers, Plaintiff was transferred to prison where he subsequently fell and suffered a back injury. The corrections officers did not promptly provide aid to Plaintiff after his injury. Plaintiff still requires the use of a cane to walk as a result of this injury.
