Description: On June 13, 2016, a shooting took place at a playground in Brooklyn. Plaintiff had nothing to do with this. Nonetheless, defendant police officers manufactured evidence and altered witness testimony causing plaintiff to be falsely arrested and incarcerated for one year, two months and 23 days. Additionally, plaintiff was libeled and defamed in newspapers citywide. All charges against plaintiff were dismissed on January 8, 2018.

Description: On June 29, 2013, Khalid Wisdom and his friends were driving toward Wisdom’s house when an unmarked NYPD vehicle, without reasonable suspicion or probable cause, pulled them over. P.O. Christop Santiago and unknown P.O.s exited the vehicle and presented their weapons to Wisdom and his friends with no reason. They demanded Wisdom and his friends exit the vehicle. Wisdom and his friends complied, and P.O.s including Santiago began to search them with no probable cause. Wisdom repeatedly asked why he was being searched, but P.O.s ignored him. P.O.s handcuffed and arrested Wisdom, then placed him into the unmarked vehicle and took him to the 62nd precinct. P.O.s handcuffed Wisdom to a bench at the precinct for appr...
