Description: On November 27, 2019, Plaintiff Mellisa Ballance with lawfully in an apartment when Defendants Detective Ariel Eusebio, Detective Rashied McIntyre, Officer Yeraldy Bonifacio, Sergeant Frederic Ortiz, Officer Anthony Cassase, Captain Raul Maisonet, Officer John Katehis, Detective Rafael Mooscoso, Detective James Burpoe, Detective Gary Perez, Officer Justin McKnight, and Officer Carlos Ramos entered the apartment with tactical SWAT-style police equipment and shields. Plaintiff was stuck and cut with a ballistic shield, pushed onto furniture and the floor, and left in excessively tight handcuffs for an excessive period of time.
