Description: Plaintiff was at home in the Bronx on October 30, 2019 at 6:00am when defendant police officers Digerolamo and John and Jane Doe #1-12 arrived and arrested her for a robbery that occurred in September 2018. Plaintiff did not commit a robbery, no witnesses identified her as the perpetrator, and she had no knowledge about the incident. In fact, plaintiff was buying juice at a store at the time the robbery occurred, a video of which existed and was seen by police officers. The plaintiff was released from Central Booking because they refused to prosecute. The plaintiff was incarcerated for approximately 35.5 hours in total. As a result, plaintiff sustained great emotional injuries.
