Description: On January 19, 2011, the plaintiff was falsely arrested for murder and his phone was unlawfully searched by the defendant PO. Subsequently, the defendant DA upon discovering the illegal search of the plaintiff's cellphone, defended the search. The jury convicted the plaintiff of attempted murder, conspiracy, intimidating a victim or a witness, and criminal possession of a weapon, and sentenced to 40 years to life in prison. 12 years into a prison sentence, the charges were dismissed.
