Defendant Angello falsely accused Plaintiff of driving a stolen vehicle with a forged license plate and ordered him out of his vehicle before handcuffing and arresting Plaintiff. Description: On January 7, 2022, the Plaintiff was illegally stopped by Office Nicholas Angello, Officer Daniel Watson, and Lieutenant Henry Daverin in Brooklyn. The NYPD officers had no basis for the stop and used the pretext that Plaintiff did not have a valid license and that his windows were illegally tinted to search the vehicle at the precinct, both of which were demonstrably untrue at the time of the stop.
