Description: On March 18, 2017, at the intersection of Westchester Avenue and Prospect Avenue in the Bronx, Plaintiff, a rear-seat passenger in a vehicle, was improperly stopped and arrested by Defendant officers without any legal justification. The vehicle was stopped based on the fact that it was a late-model car operated by a young minority male. The officers searched the locked glove compartment and falsely accused Plaintiff of possessing items found inside, despite Plaintiff's position as a rear-seat passenger.
