Complaint
Description: On February 12, 2012, Plaintiff was dropping a fare from his taxi when two intoxicated women jumped in the back even though the prior person was still paying. The women verbally abused and spat at the Plaintiff. When they finally got out, the Plaintiff went around to close the door, but they jumped in the drivers seat and threw the key into the sewer. Plaintiff called 911 several times seeking help from the abusive, intoxicated women. NYPD officers eventually arrived and ultimately arrested Plaintiff for holding on to one of the women’s purses. Plaintiff was falsely charged with possessing stolen property and held until February 17, 2012. All charges were dismissed on June,12 2012.
