Complaint
Description: On July 21, 2017 plaintiffs were lawfully on a Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue bound Q subway train. When plaintiffs exited the train entered at the DeKalb Avenue subway station, plaintiffs were stopped and arrested by police officer Emmanuel Tsividakis and unidentified police officers (John and Jane Does). Plaintiffs were transported via subway to Canal Street in Manhattan and taken to a nearby precinct and placed in holding cells. Plaintiffs were issued Desk Appearance Tickets, and criminal proceedings were initiated against them in Criminal Court, New York County. Subsequently, all charges filed against plaintiffs were dismissed.
