Description: On May 21, 2019 in the vicinity of 85 West Fordham Road in the Bronx, Plaintiff was illegally targeted by Defendant Officers based on his race. Defendant Officers, including Officer Segovia, Verendia, and Brathwaite, forcibly threw Plaintiff off his bicycle, slammed him into the pavement, and punched him in his ribs and arms. Plaintiff was placed in handcuffs that were too tight. Defendant Officers fabricating a false narrative, in which they claimed Plaintiff committed criminal activities including Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct in order to place him under arrest.
