Description: On September 11, 2015, plaintiffs were standing outside an apartment building when defendant officers, in plainclothes, exited an unmarked car and started running toward plaintiffs. Fearful for their safety, plaintiffs ran back into the apartment building but were tackled by defendants. Defendants began punching and kicking plaintiffs. Defendants dragged plaintiffs outside and arrested them. Plaintiffs were taken to the 28th precinct and one of the plaintiffs was hospitalized. All charges brought against plaintiffs were subsequently dismissed.

Description: On October 8, 20111, Plaintiff was with his partner and her daughter in manhattan. Plaintiff and his partner were having an argument when they walked by a police vehicle. The couple parted ways because of the argument leaving Plaintiff alone on the corner of the street, when the police vehicle approached. Defendant Officers Scott and Gittens approached Plaintiff and asked him what was going on. Defendant Officers then ordered an unmarked car to stop the cab which Plaintiff's partner got into with her daughter. Offficers then asked Plaintiff's partner if he hit her, she told them he did not.
