Complaint
Description: On June 19, 2021, at or around 1890 Eastern Parkway in Kings County, Plaintiffs Adeola Dadeyibi and Shawn Ealey were forcibly seized without warrant or probable cause by Defendant NYPD Police Officers. Plaintiffs were handcuffed, arrested, detained, and imprisoned against their will, then prosecuted for crimes of which they were innocent. Defendants Sgt. Frantz Chauvet and Police Officer John Freund falsely accused plaintiffs of various criminal acts.
Plaintiffs bring claims of: assault and battery, false arrest and false imprisonment, malicious prosecution, fourth and fourteenth amendment violations, denial of right to a fair trial, and failure to intervene.
