Description: On May 24, 2017, plaintiff was on a public playground with her children and her friend's children. As plaintiff talked to her friends, plaintiff's child wandered away from the playground and, unbeknown to plaintiff, returned to their home. When plaintiff realized that her child was missing, she started searching for the child and ultimately called 911 to report her child missing. After no POs responded to her call, plaintiff walked to the nearby precinct where she was told that her child had already been found and was in custody. Description: On May 14, 2012 plaintiff Jose Cespedes was having drinks when an argument ensues between the plaintiff and friends. When the police arrive on the scene they arrested and assaulted the plaintiff, resulting in a hospital visit for several bruised/fractured ribs. He has a permanent scar on his wrist from the handcuffs. The plaintiff was incarcerated for approximately 48 hours.
