Description: On September 2, 2011, plaintiff was walking on the sidewalk when POs. Joseph Morovich, Haley, and McCormick (first names unknown) pulled up next to him in a police car and told him to stop. POs Morovich and Haley got out of the car, and Morovich grabbed plaintiff, handcuffed him extremely tightly, and asked what he had in his pocket. Plaintiff answered that he had a box cutter in his pocket. PO Morovich searched him, including down his pants and touching his penis. Morovich removed the box cutter as well as two cellphones, then stated he had searched plaintiff due to seeing a bulge in his pants. Description: On July 8, 2011, Detective Morovich with another police officer approached Mr. Gonzales, and Detective Morovich grabbed him by the shirt and started searching him. After Mr. Gonzales put several bags of heroin he took out of his pocket in his mouth, Detective Morovich handcuffed him and threw him on the ground. Meanwhile, other police officers have arrived, and while Mr. Gonzales was on the ground, Detective Morovich, together with other police officers attacked Mr. Gonzales violently, by choking him, kicking him, and punching him, including with what Mr. Gonzales identified as night sticks and radios. The violent attack caused Mr. Gonzales pain and physical injury.

Description: On June 18, 2011, plaintiff was walking in the vicinity of 4 East 117th Street in Manhattan headed to a local store. Police Officer Manuel Encarnacion, Sergeant Joseph McKenna and Police Officer Joseph Morovich pulled up in a marked patrol car and ran toward plaintiff to stop and frisk him. In response to plaintiff’s exercise of free speech, one of the defendants, likely Morovich, slapped plaintiff in the face. The defendants arrested plaintiff, handcuffed him excessively tight and brought him to an unknown precinct. In the precinct, the aforesaid defendants, acting in concert with Officer Stephen Hillman, falsely charged plaintiff with felony possession of a firearm.
