Description: On September 7, 2016, Plaintiff Johnson was driving with his friend and girlfriend when he was cut off by Defendant Detective Courtney Wallace, who was off-duty. Plaintiff Johnson responded by speeding up and passing Defendant Detective Wallace’s car; she responded by pulling even with Plaintiff and they began to shout at each other. Plaintiff Johnson pulled over and Defendant Detective Wallace pulled over behind him. They approached each other and were speaking when Defendant Detective Wallace struck Plaintiff Johnson in the neck with her hand.
